"Super Silly Sundays": Hot Dog Men!

"......So three hot-dog men walk into a bar."  You get the idea. Hot-dog men were one of my favorites as a kid. Weird really. Eating little men? For whatever reason it worked. It got us to eat dinner for my Mom. It was silly, and we got to clothe them with ketchup and mustard. Maybe that was it? Anyways. Thought I would pass along this silly little secret for your mystery meat dinners. Do it up right though; serve with mac'n'cheese. It's sure to please! ;)

Start with a package of hot-dogs (with no casing). 

Make a slit down the middle of half the hot-dog. 

Make two smaller 1/2" slits slightly above each "leg".

Make a face. (difficult to see uncooked.) I did "x" for each eye and a "u" for the mouth.

Make a "cool dude" hair-do.  I sliced about 1/4" down. (3 times each direction)

Boil these bad guys up until heated thoroughly as directed on the package. 

Remove from boiling water and serve as desired. 

"So listen Guys..... three hot-dog men walk into a bar........... the 4th one ducks." 
........Come on! It's funny!  haha.
